Among the lots of music-related memorabilia auctioned by esteemed Phillips de Pury was the multicolor camouflage eye patch designed by rapper Slick Rick’s wife. Slick Rick’s legend precedes him like no other, for he foreshadowed the pimpster attitude of many blinged celebrities of his era with his gold chains, resplendent gold tooth and his trademark diamond encrusted eye patch. The trademark eye patch is set with colorless, pink, yellow, blue and black pavé diamonds, and was estimated to sell between $20,000-$25,000 in the British auction.
