“SURPRISE NEW X FACTOR JUDGES announced for 2012 SEASON??!!”

The California Raisins are back from their hiatus, after doing the Las Vegas show circuit now for 20 years, as a new addition to the panel of judges on X-FACTOR for the 2012 Season. GQ Interview:

GQ: So how have you guys been doing?
California Raisins: Cool man, cool. We just did a tour in Japan with a band call Cinnamon Bread, a five city tour. It was cool.

GQ: Any new music out there? Working with any new artist? I know you guys worked with the late Ray Charles and Michael Jackson back in the 1980′s.
California Raisins: Yeah man, yeah…we’re working with a few new bands. We were in the studio 2 weeks ago with Tyler from Odd Future, weird dude though. He’s crazy.

GQ: Why? What happened?
California Raisins: That crazy fool tried to eat my bass man! We had to go upside his head, bro! Nah G, it’s not gonna happen B!

GQ: Wow! I’m glad you guys came out of that situation in one piece. Are the problems resolved with Tyler’s camp or is there some animosity?
California Raisins: Yeah, we squashed everything but I gotta be careful with these hiphop cats, man…We wanna work with Wiz and Snoop, however that may put our lives in jeopardy.
