Like he had done before, KiD CuDi took it to the Twitter forum to bring some things to the light and get some things off his chest. This time, the rants are in regards to the lack of support from his label @ Universal Republic over his latest singles “King Wizard” and “Just What I Am” not getting the proper radio air play he believes his music deserves. His Indicud album is due to drop in March. Check out his tweets below…

After calling off their engagement last year, but convincing the public they’re still a couple, Laker baller Matt Barnes and Basketball Wife Gloria Govan have called it quits.
Matt emailed out a statement today about the split:
“I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship. We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.”
And Gloria just tweeted her statement saying:
“I’m sure you guys are hearing a ton of buzz about Matt and Me breaking up, sorry to say… its true!!! But the most important thing is focusing on my kids and continuing to have a good relationship with their father, thanks for your support!!!”
The L.A. Times reports a heated twitter exchange between Matt and a fan was a tell-tale sign: That person suggested Barnes should marry her or else someone else will.
Responded Barnes: “He can have her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Meanwhile, Govan retweeted the following message on Saturday:
“If someone is dumb enough to walk away, be smart enough to let them go. Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you.”
The two share 3-year-old twins Carter Kelly & Isaiah Michael, as well as a home in Palos Verde. Well the next season of Basketball Barely Wives should be interesting….

Hours after the internet was ignited with reports that they had separated after 13 years of marriage, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith issued a joint statement shooting down the rumors.
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false,” the pair said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
The story, which quickly became a Twitter trending topic and the most searched topic on Google Tuesday, began with a report from tabloid In Touch Weekly.
Will and Jada were not the only Smith family members to comment on the false report. Will’s eldest son Trey (from his first marriage) also took to his Twitter account Tuesday, writing,
“Will and Jada getting a DIVORCE ..NOT TRUE AT ALL !! RETWEET”

Lil Wayne said Monday he is recovering after gashing his head at a St. Louis-area skateboard park.
The 28-year-old rapper whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. was in suburban St. Louis Sunday for a performance at the outdoor Verizon Amphitheatre. KTVI-TV reported that Lil Wayne, accompanied by a large entourage, showed up Sunday at DePaul Health Center’s emergency room.
Hospital spokeswoman Jamie Newell said she could not confirm Lil Wayne was at the hospital, citing privacy laws. But Lil Wayne wrote about it on his Twitter account.
“The Lou was good but I busted my … head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people,” he tweeted.
Messages left with Lil Wayne’s management on Monday were not returned. Details about how he was hurt, and where, were not immediately available.
Lil Wayne is about to release his new album, “Tha Carter IV.” A previous album, “Tha Carter III,” was the best-selling album of 2008 and the Grammy Award winner for best rap album of that year. In 2010, he served time in a New York jail after pleading guilty to a weapons charge.
“Tha Carter IV” will be released digitally after Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, at which Lil Wayne will perform. The album, which features collaborations with Drake, Cory Gunz, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and others, will be in stores on Aug. 29.

After weeks of waiting, The Throne finally dropped their highly anticipated debut last night. So far, reception has been mixed. Later on, producer 9th Wonder, who has worked with Jay-Z, gave his thoughts on the album via his Twitter account. Here’s what he had to say:
“Thank you God for giving me the ability to listen to music objectively, despite how big the artist is. Lemme tell yall something, I am not a follower, never will be, if something is dope, cool, if not, then cool, but I don’t follow. #STANDTALL.”
“I just checked it out.#WTT. WTT as a whole is not for me. I can rock with “New Day” & “The Joy”. I understand expansion/experimentation in music, but its not for me. It has nothing to do with samples vs. keys, cause I ROCKS with The Neptunes, Swizz, etc.”
“So lets see who’s the first Hip-Hop blog will be the first one to put up my thoughts of the album. So I guess my brother @marcopolo is crazy too? Nah, not at all.”
“As a musician/beatmaker/active participant in hip-hop, I want to be SCARED when I hear something, like when I heard Aquemini. It has nothing to with the STYLE of rap, subject matter, NOTHING. Its the FEELING for me. U can KILL 50 people in a song as long as it bangs.”
“I said ” the joint wasn’t for ME”, reading is fundamental. I think I expressed my opinions very eloquently. Different time, different generation. Errybody says IM angry. Who’s more angry, MEor THEM? *Turns on Section 80*.”
“Here is the funniest thing of the NIGHT…over HALF of these nukkas on here DOWNLOADED it from MEDIAFIRE, lol. Can someone repost my initial comments from last night…*brushes off stones*.”
[That MEDIAFIRE comment is hilarious and so true, lol.]

The-Dream released the official artwork for his upcoming 10 track project, titled 1977, and will be presented to us under his government name, Terius Nash.
Singer-songwriter The-Dream has defied his superiors at Def Jam and has promised to release a free album under his birth given name although the singer is still under contract with the major recording label to release his fourth studio LP. The 34-year-old Atlanta native took to his Twitter to make the announcement and continued with some passionate tweets regarding the decision.
A fired up Dream in a series of tweets offered,
“LP4 is Underway I THE-DREAM have decided to go forward with “Diary Of A Madman” LP it almost didnt happen. So ill be in my DefJam uniform… for atleast one More Season! He added, “The “TERIUS NASH EST. 1977″ is very personal and to my Fans!” The Dream’s Def Jam bosses are reportedly not happy about the Grammy Award winning songwriter’s plans. “BTW NO ONE AT DEFJAM IS HAPPY ABOUT A FREE ALBUM LOL…. they are trying to stop it!” tweeted Nash.
The-Dream gave a heartfelt thanks to fans on Twitter and in a moment of humility shared that he isn’t afraid of losing citing that his songwriter career affords him the freedom to give away tunes to his supporters.
“When its time to make money we do, Right now its time to give back. 1977 Track listing will appear on Radiokillanation.com Aug 20th,” tweeted The Dream.

According to Publishers Weekly, ”Lady Gaga” will feature never-before-scene images of the singer taken during a 10-month period in which Richardson followed Gaga on the road, in the studio and everywhere in between as he was given complete access to her everyday life. The pictures range from the Lollapalooza festival in August 2010 to the final shows of this year’s Monster Ball.
Gaga will write the foreword, and Jamie Raab, executive vice president and publisher of Grand Central Publishing, which is issuing the book, said in a statement, “We are proud to be publishing this remarkable collaboration between Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson and anticipate that it will be one of the most stunning, provocative and coveted books of the 2011 holiday season.”
A limited edition of the book will be released next year.
Some of the images Richardson has been taking of Gaga over the past year have already raised eyebrows. Richardson, who is known for his provocative, often explicit images, took some topless shots of the singer in February for a Supreme ad as well as the instant classic shots of Gaga draped in a version of her infamous raw-meat dress for the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan, which also featured shots of her male alter ego, Joe Calderone.
He also collaborated with Gaga for the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar, in which he captured her on all fours in just fishnets, a nude bra and white boots on top of a mirror-covered piano.
On Thursday, the pop star surpassed 12 million followers on Twitter.
